In addition, DFW is responsible for materiel management for the P-3C Orion fleet.
The P-3 Orion maritime patrol aircraft in service with the Spanish Navy are used for naval reconnaissance and anti-submarine and anti-ship operations.
EADS Military Air Systems in Spain provides know-how for scheduled depot inspections as well as all the necessary repairs. It also supports the planning and implementation of service life extension measures and re-painting of the aircraft.
