Next October 6th 2006 in Seville the Aerospace Quality Worldwide Congress organized by EADS CASA jointly with the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG), with the collaboration and support of the Regional Government of Andalucía and the Town Hall of Seville.
The IAQG is an organization, integrated by the most important industries and associations within the Aerospace sector (EADS, Airbus, Eurocopter, BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, General Electric, UTC, AVIC, MHI, Alenia, SAFRAN, Raytheon and Northrop, among others) with the aim of establishing and maintaining a cooperative attitude based on the confidence between the companies of the sector they represent in order to develop initiatives to achieve significant improvements in quality and cost reductions in all the chain of value.
Conscious of the need that all entities implied in the aerospace sector; industry, authorities, reputable and certifying agencies, are punctually informed about the above mentioned initiatives, EADS CASA firmly supports this Congress and promotes the participation.
The Institutional support received is likewise unquestionable. The Fair of the Complementary Industry (FIC) has modified its regular calendar in order to coincide with this encounter. We have already confirmation about the presence of, among other personalities, the Secretary of State of Defence, Mr. Francisco Pardo Piqueras, the President of the Regional Government of Andalucía Mr. Manuel Chaves, the Mayor of Seville Mr. Alfredo Sánchez Monteseirín, and the President of EADS CASA, Mr. Francisco Fernández Sáinz, as well as other important executives from EADS and the main Aerospace Industries.
