West Midlands Police orders new EC135Confirming Eurocopter as No. 1 Supplier of Police Air Support Helicopters Duxford, 22 September 2009
At this year’s Helitech, Eurocopter UK is proud to announce the order for a new EC135 for West Midlands Police Air Support Unit. On top, Eurocopter will provide, at short notice, a fully equipped EC135 police helicopter, featuring the well-known mission pod, to take over the duties of the West Midlands EC135 destroyed by fire in a recent arson attack until the new aircraft will be delivered in summer 2010. Eurocopter UK thereby demonstrates its flexibility and reactivity to customer needs.
