Alexander Reinhardt (41) has been appointed as Head of Corporate Media Relations at EADS effective 26 January 2009, succeeding the new Head of Corporate Communications, Pierre Bayle.
Reinhardt will be responsible for EADS' worldwide media activities and will act as the company spokesman, reporting to Bayle.
Reinhardt has previously held the positions as Head of EADS’ Corporate Internal and Online Communications in 2008 and Head of Communications for the EADS Defence & Security Division from 2003 to 2007. From 1998 to 2003, he headed the Public Relations Department at Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. Prior to this role, he was a Bundeswehr Officer in the Mountain Infantry for ten years. He holds a degree in political science.
