In an increasingly complex world, the requirements of the armed forces, homeland security, public safety authorities, but also civilian and governmental customers, have changed towards complete systems solutions, beyond the platforms.
Our customers wait for Large System Integration solutions tailored to their specific needs that will combine all our existing knowledge to formulate, design, develop, implement, deploy and support end-to-end security systems, linking the widest possible range of individual platforms and subsystems into a single effective network.
The System Design Centre supports defence and security customers in Concept Development and Experimentation (CD&E) with Modelling and Simulation (M&S) in a synthetic environment, providing system architecture design framework and relevant competencies to the DS business units and the overall EADS Group. The SDC is installed in France, Germany and the U.K. and provides a trans-national networked experimentation and test environment through its Network Centric Operations Simulations Centres (NetCOS). By applying standardised methods and tools, the DS Division's LSI strategy is put on a solid and interoperable basis.
