C-101 Aviojet

In the 1970s, in Spain the EADS predecessor CASA was responsible for the development and construction of the C-101 Aviojet. The C-101 Aviojet is a modern single-jet training aircraft that is also suitable for light attack tasks. It is used to train Spanish Air Force pilots.

Today, EADS Military Air Systems provides maintenance and support for the Spanish fleet of these aircraft and has fitted these with the latest avionics and navigation equipment as well as communications and IFF systems. A total of 151 of these aircraft were sold to Spain, Chile, Honduras and Jordan.
