TOP50

The TOP50 is a CDROM series by the German Land Survey Offices. The series comprises 13 CDROM products, covering the entire Federal Republic of Germany with topographical maps in 1:50,000 scale.
Additionally every TOP50 product contains the following information:

Topographical overview map 1:200,000 (for the respective area)

Federal Republic of Germany 1:1,000,000
-
German Länder overview
-
Map sheet overview
-
Location name register– administrative boundaries (Land, regions, districts, communities)
-
Digital terrain elevation model.
The TOP50 series can be obtained through the respective shops, through each Land Survey Office (you will find the links under http://www.adv-online.de) or for example through the online shop of MAP & GUIDE GmbH http://mapandguide.com . The actual edition of the TOP50 is version 3.0. Starting early 2003 the version 3.0 will be replaced by version 4.0.
TOP200

The TOP200 is a CDROM product by the German Federal Office for Cartography and Geodesy extending the TOP50 series. The TOP200 covers the entire Federal Republic of Germany with the topographical overview map in 1:200,000 scale.
Additionally the TOP200 product contains the following information:

The WR50 (WR stands for Hiking and Biking) is a CDROM set by the Baden-Württemberg Land Survey Office. The 3 CDs of WR50 cover the entire Baden-Württemberg with special topographical maps in 1:50,000 scale for hikers and bikers with trial overlays, additional multimedia information and is compatible to the TOP50 series.
The 3 CDs cover the following areas:

CD3: Swabian Alb and Lake Constance.
